1914/18 WAR DIARY PHOTOGRAPHS
Gregory Walmsley---Cheshire Regiment---Mesopotamia (Iraq)
Compiled by Edward A Walmsley
The Photographs were taken by my Father when serving in the 1914/18 War, in Mesopotamia
Using a box camera 2.5"x 1.75" size negatives.
The prints were badly faded but I have tried to restore the contrast when scanning.
I think the Photographs will be of interest, not only to the family, as there could have been
few private soldiers, at that time, carrying a camera with them.
There was only one negative with the diary, from which I could get a good print.
If any of the family have any old negatives, could you check for a match to the photographs.
This site is under development and I will updating on a regular basis
